Cursed By Heavy Water
In fields of waterweed and milfoil
Lives a pelagic rediscovery
Found in tubes and tendrils soaked with oil
Unorthodox and cursed by luxury
In its cyclones that rains down cutlery
The flushed seagoat sits like a gargoyle
Galvanizing dream conductivity
Through its deep water culture to boil
Its enamel sculpted by vantablack
Smothered by its old blood and oily lymphs
Submerged amidst the sink and towel rack
Saddened by lotus and laced with lilac
In honey jars of heavy water nymphs
Through storms fueled by a magical smokestack
